How much does it cost to dedicate
How to dedicate a tree
Dedicating a tree in the Root Forest has a cost of €80.00 including VAT. This amount covers the cost of transporting and planting the shoots, as well as the placement of a plaque (210 x 148 mm) for the dedication.
The Municipality of the Vigolana Plateau commits to provide emergency care and irrigation, fertilization, breeding pruning and, if necessary, replacement with a new tree of similar characteristics for a period of 3 years. This period can be considered as the stabilization phase, thus ensuring that each dedicated tree can grow healthy and strong. Participating in this initiative is not only a way to honor family history and roots, but also contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage and historical memory of local communities.
Submit your proposed dedication by e-mail or mail, using the forms downloadable from the website of the Municipality of Altopiano della Vigolana. The forms contain the proposer’s data (first and last name, address, zip code, city, tax code, telephone numbers and, if available, e-mail) and the species of tree to be dedicated, among those available, to contribute to this project that enhances the cultural heritage and promotes ancestral research related to the Roots Forest. The proposal, complete with the completed form, should be sent by mail or e-mail. Participating in this project also means keeping alive the cultural exchange with the local community, creating emotional connections with their places of origin.
